Both have strange and weird monsters in the with the same technique of decorating the scene which just includes scribbling. Rami Afifi one has the scribbling that shows another monster if you look closley enough and Daniel Johansson's scribbling pattern resembles a brain in the shape of it which would match the theme of the poster. Both artsists have repeated the face of the monster they have created. The colours are completely different but the theme of both are very similar. The 2006 one is quite a soft and we feel more pity for the creature than fear where as the 2009 is quite sickly in colour and becuase of the scary skull like creatures.

Both of theses artsists have taken ordinary everyday objects and placed them in unusual positions to build up a large shape full of interesting and comical images. The 2006 peice is a human figure with aditional limbs and the buildings and vehicles are coming out of/on top of the figure. In the 2007 one it is the vehivles and roads e.t.c that create the monster like figure. Both are interesting to look at becuase of the detail and amount going on. Even the colours are similare between the two pictures. March Castle's 2006 peice consists of different shades of blue, one of which is exactly the same as the blue in the 2007 piece which also has more green. The feel of this one is more smooth and winding as the roads, train track and fields twist round and round where as the 2006 one is more jagged and sharp because of the edgy buildings and billboards are poking out everywhere and anywhere. In the first image the figure is placed in the middle of the page and the eye is drawn outwards from there to discover the other smaller images. In the second image the winding picture takes your eye from the bottom of the page gradually to the top as it turns into the creature with more images creating its body and facial details. Both pictures have things for the viewer to discover as they look closer and longer.

This is a video of a handing painted as a footballer pretending to practice football skills. A paper ball is created with CGI and added to make it look like the hand is practicing some amazing skills. They have used a low quality camera and simple camera shot to make the video look ammature. This makes the viewer think that the paperball must be real as only professionals would use CGI.

Both of these peices are mainly about experimenting with the style and font of type. The 2007 peice by Daniel Sheilds uses the letters V,Z,X and O. He has chosen a font and colour and used the letters to create and almost inward spiral effect with them. The yellow black are very contrasting making the art very bold. In the centre of the page we can see and inverse "X" created with the yellow triangle shapes attatched to the left and right "V's". This makes the simple peice more interesting and draws the viewer in the figure it out. Overall the picture is very bold and inviting to look at. Sophie Henson's 2008 peice has alot of similar characteristics. It is instantly intersting to look at with so many different styles of the same words that it can be enternaining for alot longer than the average poster. She has used the phrase "DatByDay" and presented it in abotu 30 differnt ways. It is totally black and white which gives the viewer a chance to view each one in detail without being distracted by colours. Overall i think this image is bold and interesting.

These to peices of digital art have many similarities. They are both mainly of a beautiful women with strange and interesting images built up around her. in both images we can only see just past the weighst of both women, this means that they can be centered in the page and the patterens can be plastered all the way around them without legs getting in the way. It also means that we can see the woman in more detail. If she had legs the image would have to be alot smaller on the page for her to fit on and have room all around her for patterns. The 2008 one is alot happier and girlier and the 2006 is very urban and carefree feeling giving them both their own theme. In the 2008 peice alot of the lines look liquidfied, smooth and shiny. The pigeons have colousful shapes falling from them and i can see sparkling lines flowing all over the place. The over all feel of the image is happy and sweet. The 2006 peice is very bold as the yellow and black have a strong contrast. The background has a strange mish mash of depth and shapes images of a trainstation, town building and a palm tree letting us know that it is based in california.
