Digital Art the new Age/Revolution

Created by: Robert Hodgin

Using an image manipulation programme this artsist has created a very strange and interesting peice of work. I think the main focus in the image is the hair like stroke filling the page. Because of their spacing and thickeness it looks like a close up photograph a eyelashes. When we look into the background we can see that this cant be eyelashes because this hair like texture goes on and on. There are also bubbles like bits that look attached to the hair. The closer ones are black and as shiny as glass and the ones placed inthe background are less focused, not as shiny and white. The image is almost all black and white making it very powerfull and intense and also lets us concentrate on the detail and depth of the picture.

Made with a 3D modelling programme, this video is hypnotising with its bright colours and bursts of light. The main animated shape in the movie changes size throughout to suit the music but always looks smooth, slippery and flexible. It also looks like it it floating around. It sometimes duplicates and leaes parts of itself behind which disolve into a small burst of light. Ramdon patterns appear in the background as if they are being drawn in light. The main shape also seems to spit out has flocks of birds which start to fly and then dissapear.
